OF THE CITY OF ROSEvn..LE >I< * * >I< >I< ,.. >I< >I< >I< >I< * >I< >I< Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 23rd day of May, 1994 at 5:30 P.M. The foHowing members were present: P. Johnson, Wiski. Mastel. Goedeke and V. Johnson and the following were absent: None. Member Mastel introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 9078 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING VACATION OF THOSE PORTIONS OF EXISTING UTILITY AND DRAINAGE EASEMENTS IN THE AREA OF 2249 FERRIS LANE. WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing to deteqnine whether or not said portions of utility and drainage easements in the City ofRoseville should be vacated; and WHEREAS, because the portion of utility and drainage easements in the area of 2249 Ferris Lane are not necessary for public purposes; and WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the public interest to vacate said utility and drainage easements as described in Attachment "A". NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Roseville hereby vacates a portion of public utility and drainage easements over the property described in Attachment "A", except easements for public or private utilities, including but not limited to water lines. sewer mains, telephone lines and poles, gas and electric lines and cable TV lines, including the right to maintain the same or to enter upon such land or portion thereof vacated, to maintain, repair, replace, remove or otherwise attend thereto, existing on the date of this vacation, shall be preserved and maintained by said utility holder pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 160.29. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member p, Johnson, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following vote in favor thereof: P. Johnson, Wi ski, Mastel, Goedeke, and V. Johnson and the following voted against the same: None. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
