Ferriswood Addition was platted for townhome development in 1983. The plat is
located north of Cmmty Road B, south of Highway 36, and west of Gluek Lane.
The plat that was approved in 1983 contained utility and drainage easements to
provide for public utilities such as sewer and water and 8tooo sewer. Due to
actual field placement of utilities and the location of buildings within the plat, it is
necessary to modify one of the utility easements located on the northern edge of
the plat.

2. By the City vacating a portion of the existing easement and the developer
dedicating additional easements to the City, the alignment can be straightened out
and cover the actual location of undergrOlmd public utilities.

3. On May 11 1994, the Platming Commission unanimously recommended approval
of Art Mueller/City of Roseville's request for vacation of a portion of an existing
drainage and utility easement at 2249 Ferris Lane as per staff recommendation.

Staff Recommendations:

1. Staff recommends approval of the vacation of those portions of an existing utility
and drainage easements legally described with the attached legal descriptions
generally in the area of 2249 Ferris Lane in Roseville.

Council Action Requested:

1.
