<br />18.030 Designation of Water Management Overlay Districts <br /> <br />18.030.1 The Water Management Overlay District hereby created and is divided into the <br />following subdistricts as shown on the Official Zoning Map or an attachment thereto; the <br />Shoreland District, the Wetland Protection District, and the Storm Water District. The amended <br />Official Zoning Map, with water management overlay districts, is hereby adopted by reference <br />and declared to be a part of this ordinance. Said Official Zoning Map shall be on file in the office <br />of the Community Development Director, The Community Development Director shall maintain <br />the necessary records to maintain and display the Official Zoning Map as amended. The <br />boundaries of the overlay districts as shown on the Official Zoning Map are considered to be <br />approximate and must be established on the ground at the time of any application for permit; <br />variance, conditional use, planned unit development or subdivision ofland. <br /> <br />18.030.2 The SHORELAND DISTRICT is all land meeting the definition of shoreland adjacent <br />to the public waters listed in Section 18.035.2. <br /> <br />18.030.3 The WETLAND PROTECTION DISTRICT is all upland within 100 feet ofthe <br />wetland boundary of wetlands and those public waters not specifically Hsted as shoreland. <br /> <br />18.030.4 The STORM WATER DISTRICT is all land either within 100 feet of the normal <br />water level of constructed storm water ponds or wetlands managed for storm water quantity and <br />quality management purposes; or all land below the 100 year flood elevation of such ponds or <br />wetlands, which ever is most restrictive. <br /> <br />18.030.5 The existing zoning on the site shall specify the allowable land uses but all such uses <br />must additionally comply with any more restrictive standards and criteria of this chapter. <br /> <br />18.030.6 Individual on~site sewage treatment systems are prohibited in all water management <br />overlay districts. <br /> <br />18.035 Shoreland Classifications <br /> <br />18.035.1 The following public waters of the City of Roseville have been classified either <br />consistent with the criteria found in Minnesota Regulations, Part 6120.3300, and the Protected <br />Waters Inventory Map for Ramsey County, Minnesota or classified by the City ofRoseville when <br />no classification was available from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. The <br />shoreland area for the waterbodies listed in sections 18.035.2 shall be as defined in Section <br />18.020.40 and shown on the Official Zoning Map. Wetland protection areas shall be as defined in <br />Section 18.030.3. Storm water protection areas shall be as defined in Section 18.030.4. <br /> <br />10 <br />
