Broce thinks that this model
should be combined with the city stonn water management utility ordinance and the enforcement
procedures for administrative offenses (as part of the City Code, the shoreland/water quality ordinance
would be included under the administrative offense provisions),

TJ....~r-_.~........ _~ ............ _#'\0...... ......!'"".........ß'Oo.... .__.ß.......4.........1 L.. ...t........ See the
attached map.

He also thinks it may be more useful to include requirements that boat houses be allowed as a
Conditional Use Permit (CUP) and that accessory structures be allowed as long as they met
landscape and architectural guidelines.

The Planning Commission encouraged the Committee to continue its work and return with the
completed ordinance in September. Comments on the proposal included:

1) Delete an references to dminfiekls and septic systems.
2) Allow for architectural review of accessory buildings,
3) Storm water management section needs more work.
4) Better define the limits of the Overlay District.
5) SimplifY the joint controlled access for each of the Jakes.
6) Summarize the ordinance in layperson's language. '
7) Research the impact on each proper1y owner and develop a notification process,

Attachments :
Sandstrom Model Combination Ordinance
Map of Overlay Distric{J\
- - ""'
