However, the <br />plan to alter my personal propertyhas greatly distressed <br />me. Therefore, I am requesting that you leave .lDl/. Tpar~.- <br />ingarea at its present dimentons, for the føllowing I <br />reasons. [ <br />1.This space aids my neighbor with her parking . <br />problems. She has a tuck under garage. If she has visitors <br />they can park in our available space, so that access ~o <br />her garage is not hampered. <br />2.Becaus8 of our narrow street, '. I,ample off street .J <br />parking is a very desireable factor. . <br />3. Heavy snow or icy conditions occasionally means <br />neighbors up the hill may use our lot until snowplows <br />remedy the problem. <br />4.This pariing ~rea has been in existance for for~y <br />some years. My wife and I landscaped our yard around <br />this space. There is a 6'x45' flower garden creating.~~. <br />southern borden. The western border. is defined' by, two <br />tully mature blue spruce. By eliminating nineteen £eet <br />on the western of the lo~aesthetics of our property be <br />greatly changed. <br />My wife and I are in our seventies we already tend <br />lOOOOfeet of lawn, which consumes much of our time and <br />energy, Your proposal would add another 600' of lawn and <br />add to our work load. My wife does all the shopping even <br />with some leg problems. Your proposal will increase trips <br />carry groc~ries, etc. from car to front door from 75' to <br />94' . <br />In summary lid like to restate that this parking <br />area has been in place over forty yearsr plus it is not <br />disproportionate on a 125'x280' lot. By changing it, you <br />would be creating a hardship for us personally.
