Lexington Avenue. ~ Background: 1. At their regular meeting of July 13, 1994, the Planning Commission continued consideration of this item until the August 10, 1994 meeting to allow further investigation concerning parking setback issues and the design of the facility pylon sign. Since that time, the applicant has been working with Ramsey County to finalize right-of-way dedication requirements along Lexington Avenue. The County needs approximately 6 feet of right~of-way along the southern half of this property but has excess property to the north. The applicants and the County are trying to negotiate a trade at this time and this property would probably provide the opportunity to incorporate the parking setback required by the City ordinance. 2. Because the negotiations for the right-of-way are not complete, the applicant has asked that this item be continued to the Planning Commission's September 14, 1994 meeting and the City Council's September 26, 1994 meeting. 3, The Planning Commission, at their August 10, 1994 meeting, continued consideration of NaftaUa Alkali request for a special use permit for a light automobile repair facility at 3114 N. Lexington Avenue to the regular Planning Commission meeting of September 14, 1994. Staff Recommendations: 1. It is recommended that the City Council continue the public hearing on Naftalia Alkali's request for a special use permit fOf light automobile repair at 3114 N. Lexington Avenue until the September 26, 1994 City Council meeting.
