BACKGROUND <br /> <br />The Ramsey Department of Public Health, Division of Solid Waste is requesting <br />an extension of its interim use. permit to operate a seasonal collection site for <br />household hazardous waste at their site, on Ke:µt Street, north of Larpenteur <br />Avenue and east of Dale Street. In 1992, the Roseville City Council approved <br />the County's request for a2 year interim use pennit at this location. This pennit <br />will expire July 13, 1994. <br /> <br />Under State law, metropolitan counties are required to provide for collection of <br />household hazardous waste. Ramsey County has provided those services <br />through a contract with Dynex Industries. Dynex operates a year round <br />household hazardous waste collection facility in MOWldsview and four seasonal <br />satellites during April through October, including the Roseville site. <br /> <br />With the attached letter, Ramsey County is requesting several minor changes in <br />its site operations.
