Thury's letter dated May 4, 1994 on <br />behalf of the City of Roseville Engineering Department to Mahmoud <br />Azar, owner of the property at 2185 St. Croix Street, which is <br />located ~irectly north of our property. <br /> <br />We understand from your letter that Mr. Azar'S driveway does not <br />comply with city code, and that the city requires that it be <br />rebuilt unless a "minor variance" is received. <br /> <br />We support Mr. Azar's application for a minor variance for the <br />following reasons: <br />(1) The driveway in question has been in place for many years <br />(2) Relocation would cause the loss of beautiful, mature trees <br />(3) There is no esthetic or practical need to relocate it <br />(4) Relocation would be costly <br /> <br />Feel free to call us at 633-4967 if there are any further <br />questions. <br /> <br /> <br />rely, <br /> <br />02/d <br /> <br /> <br />Paul H.
