'i:'; :;i',:,'; 'i: ,; ¡ : I" ,I was recently contacted by a representative of strick Leasing ,concerning a property they currently lease at 1920 County Road C. I strick, within the last few months, moved their truck rental 'operation to this site from a site at County Road C and Long Lake Road. Strick is apparently interested in purchasing the property from Jim Trapp. The representative from strick Leasing asked if they could expand the use on the site to include trailer sales. In reviewing the file on this site, I found that the City in 1976 apparently was in the process of issuing orders to cease use of the property as a truck rental operation. The City considered rezoning the property but ultimately amended the ordinance to allow truck rental as a special use in the I-I zoning district. The city also approved a special use permit for a truck rental operation on the site in question with the condition that the permit would expire August 9, 1979. The special use permit has obviously lapsed but according to Strick leasing, there has been a truck rental operation on the site continuously from 1976.
