The City has a policy to issue blanket minor variances for driveway sideyard <br />setbacks in conjunction with street work being done in the community. <br /> <br />2. In accordance with City policy, the following minor variance is presented for <br />Council approval. <br /> <br />a. Henrichs Hogenkamp request for a 3 foot variance at 2211 Marion <br />Road. <br /> <br />3. All affected property owners have consented to the variance request. <br /> <br />Alternatives: <br /> <br />1. To deny the variance and require the driveway to be installed with the proper <br />5 foot setback. <br /> <br />2. Approve the variance as proposed. <br /> <br />Policy Objective: <br /> <br />1. To bring existing non-conforming driveways in conformance with the <br />ordinance by either granting a variance or requiring that they be installed with <br />proper 5 foot setbacks. <br />
