EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, the 22nd day of October, 2001, at 6:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Klausing, Maschka, Goedeke, Kysylyczyn and the following were absent: Mastel Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 9950 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR ZIMMERMAN LAKE DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution passed by the City Council, the City Assistant Public Works Director has prepared plans and specifications for the following Improvements and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval: City Project M-01-18: Zimmerman Lake Drainage Improvements THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota: 1. Such plans and specifications, copies of which are attached hereto, and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The City Manager shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the Roseville Review, the official newspaper, and in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement for bids for City Project M-01-18: Zimmerman Lake Drainage Improvements shall be published as required by law, shall specify the work to be done, shall call the bids on the basis of cash payment for such work, shall state that the bids will be received by the City Manager and Assistant Public Works Director as follows: City Project M-01-18 November 21,2001, at 11:00 a.m. at which time they will be publicly opened in the City Hall by the City Manager and subsequently be considered by the Council; and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Manager and accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check or bid bond payable to the City of Roseville for ten percent of the amount of such bid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Goedeke and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Klausing, Maschka, Goedeke and Kysylyczyn and the following voted against the same: None.
