<br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />have herewith been filed with and approved by the <br />City/C¢unty, and such proof of insurance and bond, along with <br />written evidence of payment of required premiums, shall be <br />filed annually and maintained with the City/County during the <br />term of this franchise. <br /> <br />SECTION 9 OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF SYSTEM <br />a) The Grantee shall render efficient service, <br />make repairs promptly, and interrupt service only for good <br />cause and for the shortest time possible. Such interruptions <br />shall, insofar as possible, be preceded by notice to affected <br />subscribers, and shall occur during periods of minimum use of <br />the system. <br /> <br />b) The Grantee shall maintain a business office, <br />authorized agents or locations in the City/County. These <br />offices, locations or agents shall be open during all usual <br />business hours, have a listed telephone, and be so operated <br />that payments and requests for service or adjustments may be <br />received during normal business hours. Grantee shall maintain <br />a 24 hour a day trouble reporting telephone answer system. <br /> <br />c) The Grantee at all times shall be solely <br />responsible for complying fully with all applicable local <br />state and federal regulations, including all applicable <br />technical regulations, now and from time to time established <br />by the Federal Communications Commission, and any other <br />agency which now or hereafter has jurisdiction over the <br />activities of ~rantee, including the State Public Service <br />Commission/Stàte Public utility Commission. <br /> <br />d) Grantor's designated representative shall be <br />responsible for monitoring Grantee's compliance with the <br />terms of this Section. <br /> <br />SECTION 10 SAFETY REQUIREMENTS <br /> <br />a) Grantee shall at all times employ due care, and <br />shall install and maintain in use commonly accepted methods, <br />procedures, and àevices for preventing failures and accidents <br />which are likely to cause damage, injuries, or nuisances to <br />the public. <br /> <br />b) Grantee shall install and maintain its wires, <br />cables, fixtures, cell sites, support structures and other <br />equipment in accordance with the requirements of the National <br />Electric Safety code and in such manner that they will not <br />interfere with any installations of the City/County or of a <br />public utility or cable television system serving the <br />City/County. <br /> <br />16 <br />
