<br />plans to make sure trees are not planted on any utility. <br /> <br />and subject to the staff working with Pacific Mutual Door and the neighbors <br />regarding the truck headlights, truck safety on the parking lot, and truck idling in <br />non-work hours, review of the landscape planting plan to provide coniferous <br />vegetation within the landscape plan and Pacific Mutual Door must work with the <br />neighbors to reduce the noise and buzzers to be consistent with the City's Noise <br />Code. <br /> <br />3. Following the December 19, 1994 Council Work Session, when Pacific Mutual Door's <br />request for variances were discussed, the applicants have been reviewing the direction <br />given by members of the Council. At that point, Pacific Mutual Door asked that their <br />application be continued into the future to provide time for them to consider their options. <br />They indicated that ultimately, they may withdraw their application and seek a new <br />location. <br /> <br />4. Pacific Mutual Door has now indicated that they could not reconfigure the internal <br />operation of the building to address Council concerns about truck loading facilities. <br />Therefore, they have indicated their desire to withdraw their application. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />1. It is recommended that the City Council accept Pacific Mutual Door Company's request to <br />withdraw their application for a variance to the zoning ordinance to construct an addition <br />to their facility at 2645 and 2655 N. Fairview Avenue with the stipulation that the City <br />would waive application fees if Pacific Mutual Door reapplies within one year. <br /> <br />Council Action Requested: <br /> <br />1. Motion to approve withdrawal of Pacific Mutual Door Company's request to withdraw <br />their application for a variance to the zoning ordinance to construct an addition to their <br />facility at 2645 and 2655 N.
