The City has a policy to issue blanket minor variances for driveway sideyard <br />setbacks in conjilllction with street work being done in the conununity. <br /> <br />2. In accordance with City policy, the following minor variance is presented for <br />Council approval. <br /> <br />a. Maureen McLearen request for a 5 foot variance at 2249 St. Stephens <br />Street. <br /> <br />3. All affected property owners have consented to the variance request. <br /> <br />Alternatives: <br /> <br />1 . To deny the variance and require the driveway to be installed with the proper 5 <br />foot setback. <br /> <br />2. Approve the variance as proposed. <br /> <br />Policy Objective: <br /> <br />1. To bring existing non-confonning driveways in confonnance with the ordinance <br />by either granting a variance or requiring that they be installed with proper 5 foot <br />setbacks. <br /> <br />, <br />
