As a part of the renovation of the Roseville High School, the school is proposing to <br />modify the parking lot and bus lanes serving the school. They have been working with <br />Grace Church on a parking lot design that would allow for joint use of the faciJity by both <br />the High School and the Church, This would eliminate the need for Dellwood Street, <br />assuming the Church will no longer occupy the houses facing the street. <br /> <br />2, This item was scheduled to be heard by the Planning Commission at the February 1995 <br />meeting. Just prior to that meeting, the School District requested that the application for <br />the vacation of Dell wood Street be continued and indicated that this was necessary in that <br />the School District and the Church had not yet completed their agreement concerning the <br />vacation. As ofthis writing, those arrangements still have not been made and the School <br />District is requesting that the hearing on this matter be continued until the School District <br />and the Church can finalize their agreement concerning the maintenance and operation of <br />the parking lot. <br /> <br />3. Since the City Council last dealt with this issue on March 27, 1995, the applicants have <br />decided to withdraw their request for the hearing and vacation of Dell wood Street. The <br />School District has done their site plan showing Dellwood Street remaining a public street. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />1. Staff recommends that the City Council accept withdrawal ofRoseville Area High School <br />and Grace Church ofRoseville request for the hearing and vacation of Dell wood Street <br />and a variance to the setback requirements of the zoning ordinance at 2365 Dellwood <br />Street. <br /> <br />Council Action Requested: <br /> <br />1, Motion to accept withdrawal ofRoseville Area High School and Grace Church of <br />Roseville request for the hearing and-vacation of Dell wood Street and a variance to the <br />setback requirements of the zoning ordinance at 2365 Dellwood Street. <br /> <br />1 <br />
