<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of <br />the city of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was du1y called and held at the City <br />Hall on Monday, the 13th day of November, 2001, at 6:30 p.m.. <br />The following members were present: Maschka, Mastel, Goedeke, Klausing, <br />Kysylyczyn <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9953 <br />A RESOLUTION ORDERING ABATEMENT OF NUISANCE AT <br />1661 STANBRIDGE AVENUE, CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />WHREAS, the City Council of the City of Roseville finds the property located at <br />1661 Stanbridge Avenue to be a public nuisance within the meaning of City Code <br />Sections 407.02 and 407.03 because the property has an accumulation of trash, debris, <br />brush and outside storage of old equipment and the structure is inadequately maintained, <br />dilapidated and damaged such that its physical condition and appearance detract from the <br />surrounding neighborhood as being unsightly and adversely affecting property values in <br />neighborhood pattern; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council ofthe City of Roseville deems it to be in the public <br />interest to abate the nuisance and, pursuant to City Code Section 407.07, assess the <br />property for the cost of said abatement; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the estimated cost of abatement is $37,354, provided there are no <br />further sheets of roof plywood needed, or unknown conditions are discovered. All of <br />these costs would be assessed to the property after completion of the project, payable <br />through the property tax statement <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Council Member Mastel and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: Maschka, Mastel, Goedeke, Klausing, Kysylyczyn <br />and the following voted against the same: None <br /> <br />WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
