64 D. The School District will provide basic custodial service, consistent with the policies 65 and practices of the School District. 66 E. The Roseville Area High School Principal or his/her designee will provide regular 67 onsite supervisory support, consistent with the policies and practices of the School 68 District, while being fully aware that the Police Liaison Officer is an employee of the 69 City. 70 71 3. Selection and Duties: 72 A. The Principal of Roseville Area High School or his/her designee shall be involved in 73 the interviews and selection of the Police Liaison Officer. Duties assigned the Police 74 Liaison Officer shall be mutually agreed to by the High School Principal and the Police 75 Chief, or their respective designees. 76 B. Duties 77 • On Site Duty Day: 7:45 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.; 78 • Occasionally the Principal may request of the Chief of Police that the Police 79 Liaison Officer attend a school event outside normal duty hours. 80 • The Police Liaison Officer will notify the High School Principal's Secretary when 81 he/she will be absent. 82 • Duties: hall supervision and overall supervision of safety/security, parking lot 83 supervision, annually review practices to create a safe environment and recommend 84 improvements prior to October 1, meet weekly with RAHS Administrative Team, 85 participate in RAHS Safety Committee meetings, assist Principal, Associate 86 Principals and Deans with lunchroom supervision, serious discipline issues, 87 investigation of incidents, and other duties as specif'ied in Exhibit B. 88 89 4. Term of Agreement: 90 The City and the School District shall have the right to terminate this Agreement by giving 91 the other party sixty (60) days written notice of its intent to cancel the entire Agreement. 92 In the event of cancellation, the parties will be mutually relieved of any further obligation 93 as police liaison RAHS 14-15.doc 3
