Human Rights Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />Apri116, 2014 <br />Commissioners: Vice Chair Scot Becker, Chair Wayne Groff, David Singleton, Kaying <br />Thao, Mary Bachhuber, and Molli Slade (arrived at 5:05 p.m.) <br />Youth Commissioners: Joan Dao, and Sarah Thomas <br />Commissioners Absent: Youth Commissioner Sungmoon Lim <br />Staff Present: Kari Collins <br />Call to Order <br />The Human Rights Commission (HRC) meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m. Chair Groff <br />requested roll call. <br />Approve Agenda <br />Vice Chair Becker moved and Commissioner Singleton seconded a motion to approve the <br />agenda as distributed. Motion passed unanimously. <br />New Commissioner Oaths <br />Chair Groff swore in new Commissioners Mary Bachhuber and Molli Slade. <br />Approve Minutes <br />Vice Chair Becker stated the meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. <br />Commissioner Thao stated her name was spelled incorrectly on page l. <br />Commissioner Singleton moved and Vice Chair Becker seconded a motion to approve the March <br />28, 2014 meeting minutes as amended. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Public Comment <br />There being no one present wishing to speak to the Commission on an item not on the agenda, <br />the chair moved to the next agenda item. <br />Old Business <br />2014 Essay Contest Reception and Presentation Review <br />
