Miscellaneous
scattered debris was also identified across the project site. The approximate locations of the areas
are shown on Figure 3 in the Appendix. Documentation photographs for some of the areas are
also included in the Appendix.

2.1 Area 1

Area 1 was located adjacent to the north side of an existing roadway leading to a former
homestead on the southwest corner of the project site. The debris observed consisted of concrete
rubble on the surface and sub-surface. No evidence of additional buried debris was observed.

2.2 Area 2

Area 2 was located along a hillside north of the former homestead on the southwest comer of the
site (See Photo #1). Area 2 is located east of Area 1. Debris within Area 2 consisted of
miscellaneous household garbage, tires, oil cans, miscellaneous car parts, batteries, paint cans and
numerous tin cans and bottles (See Photo #2). A drift fence had been placed at the base of the hill
to contain the majority of the debris (See Photo #3). No evidence of buried debris was observed.
However, the amount of surface debris observed was extensive.

2.3 Area 3

Area 3 was a debris area paralleling Mackubin Street, on the southeast portion of the site. Debris
observed on Area 3 included scattered miscellaneous car parts, tires, wood and tin cans (See
Photo #4). No evidence of buried debris was observed.

- 4 -
