<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center <br />Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, the 26th day of November, 2001, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Maschka, Mastel, Goedeke, Klausing and Kysylyczyn <br />and the following members were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9954 <br />RESOLUTION PROHIBITING PARKING ON <br />SHELDON STREET AND SEXTANT AVENUE <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as follows: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, residents have complained about student parking on their street, blocking traffic <br />and mail delivery; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, there have been many incidents of speeding, loud music and littering; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, the problems occur between the hours of8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on <br />school days; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Roseville, that <br />parking is hereby prohibited between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, <br />September through May on Sextant Avenue from Hamline A venue to Holton Street and on <br />Sheldon Street from Sextant A venue to Brooks Avenue. <br /> <br />The motion was duly seconded by Mastel and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: Maschka, Mastel, Goedeke, Klausing and Kysylyczyn, and the <br />following voted against: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
