She had already toured the site with me in
November of 1993 and is quite familiar with the project and area. She said that based on her
experience there will not be a increase of wild1ife in the surrounding properties and
neighborhoods. She said that the project site is localized, relatively small and that there simply
arenlt hundreds of larger animals (fox:, raccoon, etc.) living there. She has never heard of a case
where this type of project has created wildlife problems for neighboring areas.

She also said that the existing wildlifets territories already overlap the adjacent properties and that
as this staged development occurs most of the territories around the project perimeter will remain
pretty much the. same, The individual birds and animals currently living there will not share or
allow their territories to be reduced. Many of the animals living on the site will also keep their
existing tenitories within the retained open space system and corridors and wiii adapt and learn to
coexist with their new human neighbors. She indicated it is likely that the overall bird and animal
population and diversity in the area will be reduced over time as the staged development is
completed.

I hope this information answers your concerns.
