The examination of plans Is based upon the supposition that the data on which the design Is based <br />are correct, and that necessary legal authority has been obtained to construct the project. The responsibility for <br />the design of structural features and the efficiency of equipment must be taken by the project designer. <br />Approval Is contingent upon satisfactory disposition of any requirements Included with this report. <br /> <br />Water supply plans are examined with regard to the location, construction and operational features of the design <br />and maintenance of all parts of the system which may affect the safety and sanitary quality of the water. <br />Examination Is based on the standards of this department. <br /> <br />This project consists of the Installation of the following: <br /> <br />1. 380 lineal feet of 6-lnch ductile Iron pipe. <br />2. 7,600 lineal feet of a-Inch ductile Iron pipe. <br /> <br />REQUIREMENT(S): <br /> <br />1. Hydrant drains shall not be connected to or located within 10 feet of sanitary sewer or storm drains. <br />2. The watermain should be pressure tested at 150 psi for at least two hours. <br />3. Hydrants placed where the groundwater table Is less than 8 feet beloo the ground surface shall have the <br />drain hole plugged and be equipped with a tag stating the need for pumping after use. <br /> <br />COMPLIANCE: No construction shall take place except In accordance with the approved plans. If it Is desired <br />to make deviations from the approved plans, the State Department of Health should be consulted and approval <br />of the changes obtained before construction Is started; otherwise, such construction Is Installed without proper <br />approval, and In addition may create dangers to public health. <br /> <br />Authorization for construction In accordance with the approved plans may be withdrawn If construction is not <br />undertaken within a period of two years.
