The examination of plans Is based upon the supposition that the data on which the design is based <br />are correct, and that necessary legal authority has been obtained to construct the project. The responsibil1ty for <br />the design of structural features and the efficIency of equipment must be taken by the project desIgner. <br />Approval Is contingent upon satisfactory disposition of any requirements inciuded with this report. <br /> <br />. Water supply plans are examined with regard to the location. construction and operatlqnai features of the design <br />. and maintenance of all parts of the system which may affect the safety and sanitary q~allty of the water. <br />! Examination Is based on the standards of this department. I <br />, I <br />This project consists of the Instailation of 660 lineal feet of 6-inch ductile Iron pipe. <br /> <br />REQUIREMENT{S) : <br /> <br />1. The completed watermains shal1 be disinfected for 24 hours with 50 ppm available chlorine, At the end of <br />the disinfection period. the residual shall be at least 10 ppm throughout the length of the main. <br /> <br />,2. Hydrants placed where the groundwater table is less than 8 feet below the grounq surface shall have the <br />drain hole plugged and be equipped with a tag stating the need for pumping after use. <br /> <br />COMPLIANCE;. No construction shall take place except In accordance with the app'roVed plans. If It Is desired <br />to make deviations from the approved plans, the State Department of Hearth should be consulted and approwl <br />of the changes obtained before construction Is started; otherwise, such construction is Installed without proper <br />approval, and In addition may create dangers to public health. <br /> <br />// <br />," <br /> <br />Authorization tor construction /n accordance with the approved plans may be withdrawn if construction is not <br />undertaken within a period of two years.
