The engineering staff has reviewed this proposal and <br />has the following recommendations: <br /> <br />1. This property abuts the railroad property with a very steep slope on the north side of the lot. <br />Care needs to be taken to place the house and garage on the lot to give the most room to <br />the north side ofthe lot. <br /> <br />2. The proposed house plans show an over sized door on the back side of the garage. Is the owner <br />planning to use the garage for something other then R-l use? <br /> <br />3. A driveway permit will have to be approved by MnDOT also. Rice street is a state highway. <br /> <br />4. Care needs to be taken to insure the house has fall to the sanitary sewer. The main is only 8 feet <br />deep at the manhole.
