We are deeply
grateful for his ability, vision and unending enthusiasm that created and sustained the
system throughout the years.
Because of Frank's efforts, Roseville is proud to be one of the finest award winning,
nationally recognized systems in the country. Today, we all take part in, are proud of,
and enjoy Frank's significant contribution to our community. Frank's work in Parks and
Recreation helped to establish Roseville as a special place to live, work and play.
Previously, at a Board of Directors meeting of the Roseville Central Park Foundation,
unanimous recommendation was made requesting that the City Council take action
and name the "Roseville Central Park Amphitheatre" the "Frank Rog Amphitheatre in
Roseville Central Park", in honor of his overall contributions in establishing the
Roseville Parks and Recreation System. In recognition of this naming, the Foundation
has authorized a significant contribution of $25,000; to perform facility improvements
to the Amphitheatre in Frank's honor.
Sincerely,
Monte S. Johnson, President
Roseville Central Park Foundation
2660 CIVIC CENTER DRIVE — ROSEVILLE, MN 55113
651-792-7006 FAX 651-792-7100
