Best of Roseville Photography Contest Guidelines <br />June 25 -July 16, 2008 <br />Roseville Parks and Recreation, in partnership with Roseville Ritz Camera/Pro Ex Photo, is sponsoring a <br />photography contest to celebrate Roseville's 60'' Birthday, promote interest in our Community and <br />provide an opportunity for amateur photographers to display their work at Roseville City Hall. <br />Entries will be accepted June 25 -July 1.6, 2008. Contest winners will be announced on July 20. <br />Submitted photos will be displayed July 28 -August 29. Submissions will be judged on composition and <br />photographic quality. Decisions of the judges are final. Parks and Recreation staff reserve the right to not <br />display inappropriate photos. <br />Contest Categories: Amateur — Youth (age 16 and younger) <br />Amateur — Adult <br />Guidelines: <br />An amateur photographer is anyone who does not earn a significant amount of money as a <br />photographer. We realize that some amateur photographers have professional skills. We ask that <br />you use discretion in deciding which category you should enter. <br />Professional <br />• Photographs must be 5"0" or 8"x10" <br />• All Photo styles accepted — wildlife, landscape, scenery, action/activity, <br />people/portrait <br />• Digital Photos and Film Photography accepted <br />• Photos must be current, taken in Roseville within the past 12 months. <br />• Photographs entered into this competition may be used, upon approval and with <br />photo credit, in Roseville Parks and Recreation publications and displays <br />• Submitted photos become the property of Roseville Parks and Recreation <br />• Photographs must be taken within Roseville City limits <br />• Entrants must complete an individual entry form for each photo submitted <br />• Deliver photo entries to: Roseville Parks and Recreation, 2660 Civic Center <br />Drive, Roseville, MN 55113 — 651-792-7006 <br />• This contest is for fun and prizes are modest. <br />
