Refrigerant solenoid valves : Prevents refrigerant frorn migrating to the evaporator and reduces the
potential of liquid refrigerant being taken in by the compressor and danaagi.ng it.
Pressure/temperature ports: lee Kube" units are equipped withh pressure/ternperature ports in both the
hot and cold supply and return fittings of each unit to facilitate service and trouble shooting.
Indicator lights & 3 -way control switch: Are externally mounted on each unit to allow the
building operator to control the system in the event of a control failure and to facilitate service.
To
Each Ice Kube" unit run tested : Is run -tested at the factory for 2-3 hours under actual load
conditions to ensure the unit operates at specifications. Forty-four quality control checks are
performed, including pressure testing the refrigerant circuit to eliminate leaks checking the
superheat to ensure proper expansion valve adjustment, and a dielectric test to eliminate wiring
shorts. A copy of the performance of each unit is kept on file after the unit is shipped to the job site.
The lee Kube": Tea= The reliability and performance of an Ice Kube"System is only as good as the team
that designs, installs, maintains and operates it. Each team member play a crucial role in the success of the project.
The Design Team: Whether your project is a "design/build" project, or a tendered project, the designer plays
an important role in the success of the project. The components that are chose and how they are assembled determines
how well they work together. That includes not only the mechanical system components, but the building materials,
the lighting systems, and ever the type of ice resurfacing equipment that is specified. With successfully operating
systems in operation across North America, Ice Kube Systems has gained valuable experience in how the interaction
between different building systems and components affects the operation of the system. Ice Kubd' Systems is
prepared to meet with you and your design team in the early design stage and share experiences from previous
projects.
The Contractor: How the different components and systems are put together has a dramatic effect on the
operation of the system and the long-tenn cost of operating and maintaining it. The goal is to provide the owner with
a cost-effective, efficient system. This is best accomplished by providing factory authorized training and support to
regional representative who will. be there to provide the long -terra service for your system. If an authorized
representative is not available in your area, Ice Kube- Systems will work with a suitable local mechanical contractor,
providing the necessary training and supervision needed for a successfitl project.
The Building Operator: The building operator plays an important role in the reliability and long-term
efficiency of the buildings mechanical system. Iee Kube Systems works hard to ensure the system is easy to
understand and operate, and provides training and support for your operator.
Represented by:
Ice Kube Systems Ltd.
Z OR -
41 St. Paul Boulevard
West St. Paul„ Manitoba R2P 2W5
Ph: 2G4-255-5959 Fax: 204-255-7365
P-t.d 1C—d. www.icekubeheat.com
