Nationat Recreation and Park Association <br />January - Sports Edition <br />100 Park & Recreation Agencies Selected for Sticks for Kids! <br />NRPA in partnership with GCBAA announce the selection for 2007 Sticks for Kids 100 park and <br />recreation agencies receiving free golfing equipment to implement youth golfing opportunities in <br />their community. <br />Each of these agencies will receive youth golf clubs, produced by U.S. Kids Golf, to be utilized by <br />youth involved in their instructional programs, clinics and free play at local golf courses. Stayed <br />tuned for progress reports and highlights from our 100 Sticks for Kids pilot communities. <br />NRPA/GCBAA's Sticks for Kids communities! <br />Thank you to the over 250 agencies who expressed interest in receiving youth golf equipment <br />through Sticks for Kids. All agencies will receive up-to-date information and access to premium <br />opportunities around the focus of youth golf. <br />Sucks. for Kids; Background..... - ' <br />Together with the Golf Course Builders Association of America (GCBAA), NRPA is providing <br />golf equipment for youth ages 7 to 15. It's a great opportunity to partner with local golf courses <br />to teach game fundamentals during your after-school or sport camp programs! <br />Designed for youth who otherwise might miss the chance to learn and play golf, "Sticks for Kids" <br />is a year-round program promoting instruction in the classroom and on the course. <br />Questions?
