APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF DECEMBER 5, 2006 MEETING Enclosed is a copy of the minutes of December 5, 2006. Please be prepared to approve or amend. Requested Commission Action: Approve or amend minutes of the meeting December 5, 2006. 3. DEPARTMENT REVIEW Staff will present a review of the current and upcoming recreation programs, services and projects. Requested Commission Action: Comments, questions and suggestions for recreation programs, services and projects 4. JANUARY 6T", 2007 RETREAT DISCUSSION Enclosed are general notes of the January 6t" commission retreat. This item is included on the agenda in order for you to have the opportunity to discuss any details that you wish. 5. HANC PLANNING COMMITTEE This item was discussed at your retreat. Since then staff has asked the City Council for authorization to work with the Parks and Recreation Commission to form a committee with Commissioner Jacobson as the lead. The background information that was discussed with the City Council is included in your packet. The committee makeup would include two Parks and Recreation Commissioners that should be appointed at this meeting. Please think about weather you want to be a part of this group. Requested Commission Action: Discuss and appoint two Commissioners to the planning committee. 6. 2007 PARK IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS (PIP) Enclosed is a list of proposed park improvement projects for 2007.
