"In a hollow log? Under the ferns by the lake? Disguised as a tree stump? When <br />is it?!?" if you love adventure and enjoy the outdoors, you'll want to take part in the <br />world-wide treasure hunt known as geocaching. Learn what a cache is, how it's <br />hidden and what to do once you find one. <br />You'll learn how to use a GPS to guide you to one of the more than 350,000 caches <br />hidden throughout the world. The first class will teach you to use Geocaching.com to <br />find cache coordinates and log your finds. You'll learn what a cache is, how it's <br />hidden and what to do once you find one. The second class will have you out in the <br />field --guided by veteran cachers--finding caches in a Roseville park. A GPS is not <br />required, and you will want to dress for adventure. Each class meets 2 nights. <br />John Barrett is a veteran cacher who has placed more than 80 caches in Minnesota. <br />This Roseville native has won the coveted "Minnesota Geocache of the Month <br />Award" four times. <br />Individuals as well as families are welcome.
