The
Committee will work with the consulting firm Hoisington Koegler Group, Inc. (HKGI)
to update the Comprehensive Plan. Applications are due by noon on September 7.
Applications are available at Roseville City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive or at
http://www.ci.roseville.mn.us/DoCumentview.asp?DID=35.
The Comprehensive Plan is the City's guiding policy that takes a broad look at a
variety of topics including land use, transportation, parks, public infrastructure,
natural resources and economic development. Cities are required to update the plan
every 10 years. The update must be submitted to the Metropolitan Council by December
2008.
The City Council will discuss the appointment process at their September 10 Council
meeting. The Steering Committee will meet at monthly evening meetings beginning in
September through the summer of 2008. Members will help to ensure that the proposed
comprehensive plan changes fit the needs of the community. They will help guide the
comprehensive plan updating process and be a sounding board for HKGI... The steering
Committee will act in an advisory capacity to the City Council, which is the
ultimate decision maker regarding city policy.
Contact Community Development staff member 7amie Radel at 651-792-7072 or
jamie.radel@ci.roseville.mn.us if you have questions.
Carolyn Curti
Info about Carolyn Curti: http://forums.e-democracy.org/contacts/carolyncurti
This topic's messages may be viewed at:
http://forums.e-democracy.org/r/topic/4dhiWZLgg4wcnbxnOXFucj
-----------------------------------------
To post, send your message to: roseville-issues@forums.e-democracy.org
To leave or for daily digest, type 11unsubscribe" or "digest on,"
in subject line and send to: roseville-issues@forums.e-democracy.org
More info about Roseville Issues Forum:
http://forums.e-democracy.org/groups/roseville-issues
E-Democracy.org rules: http://e-democracy.org/rules
-----------------------------------------
Technical assistance thanks to our friends at http://OnlineGroupS.Net
Roseville Issues Forum
http://forums.e-democracy.org/groups/roseville-issues/stats.html
Page 1
