Chatsworth St. <br />Roseville, MN 55113 <br /> <br />April 18, 1995 <br /> <br />City of Roseville <br />Variance Committee <br />2660 Civic Center Dr. <br />Roseville, MN 55113 <br /> <br />Dear Committee: <br /> <br />In the course of applying for a building permit for a detached 2-oar garage on my property it <br />was noted by the inspectors that my existing driveway is less than the required 5 feet from <br />my neighbor's (Vivian Slater, 1699 N. Chatsworth) property. This driveway was added by the <br />previous owner and no variance was obtained at that time. I plan to extend this driveway <br />approximately 30 more feet to the location of the new garage and angle it away from the <br />property line. I am therefore applying for this variance to allow the existing and a portion of <br />the new driveway to be less than the 5 foot limit. I have discussed this situation with my <br />neighbor and she has sent a letter of consent to the committee regarding this variance.
