Michels
2787 Dellwood Street
Roseville, MN 55113

RE: STREET RECONSTRUCTION, CITY PROJECT P-95-02-15

Dear Mr. Michels:

As part of the upcoming street project on Dellwood Street, the City will have the contractor
remove and replace the boulevard portion of residential driveways. The City Engineering
Department has examined aU driveways for code compliance and existing and proposed grades.

The City ofRoseville requires that all driveways be brought into compliance with City Code
during a permanent street upgrading. Driveways must be a minimum of five feet from
neighbori~g property lines and extend a minimum of 20 feet onto private property. Currently,
the south edge of your driveway is one foot from your south property line. In order to comply
with City Code, this must be five feet from your south property line.

You may apply to vary ITom City Code by applying for a "minor variance. II I have enclosed an
application for a minor variance if you would prefer this option. If approved, your driveway
would be legal for the sideyard setback. With your variance application, you will need to have
the approval trom your neighbor. I have enclosed a form for them to sign.

Sincerely,

~p~

Tony A.
