<br />As part of the upcoming street project on Fry Street, the City will have the contractor remove and
<br />replace the boulevard portion of residential driveways. The City Engineering Department has
<br />examined all driveways for code compliance and existing and proposed grades.
<br />
<br />The City ofRoseville requires that all driveways be brought into compliance with City Code
<br />during a permanent street upgrading. Driveways must be a minimum of five feet from
<br />neighboring property lines and not exceed twenty-six feet in width in the boulevard. Currently,
<br />your driveway is approximately forty-five feet wide. In order to comply with City Code, this must
<br />be re-built to a width of twenty-six feet in the boulevard, or you may apply to vary from City
<br />Code by applying for a "minor variance. tI I have enclosed an application for a minor variance if
<br />you would prefer this option. If approved, your driveway could be reconstructed at a width wider
<br />than twenty~six feet.
