Mr. Mike Falk
May 30, 1995
Page 3

is to allow traffic to exit the aisle, traffic could not do so from the order board. If it is to permit
traffic to park rather than wait in front of the pick up window for a major order, there are no
parking spaces provided.

Pedestrian access to the Boston Market from Lincoln Drive appears adequate given the sidewalk
shown on the site plan.

Parking in front of the Boston Market is somewhat limited. If the retail draws heavily, the Boston
Market customers will probably end up in the shared parking area towards Don Pablo's Mexican
Kitchen. If the aisle for the parking is moved to the east end near Boston Market, and the handicap
spaces for the retail and Boston Market are moved to the easterly edge of the front spaces, there
could be a walking area provided for pedestrians to reach the shared parking. This could be
incorporated with the raised island which is shown. Under the current scheme, the pedestrians
must walk between parked cars or go to the existing handicap ramp and walk through the center
of the parking lot.

If you need any additional information, have any questions on our comments or need any of our
calculations, please feel free to call at 490-2045.

Sincerely,
Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc.

~~J~

Glen Van Wormer, P.J?:.
Manager, Transportation Department

tlo
Enclosure
c: Lon Aune, Roseville Assistant Public Works Director
Len Newquist, SEH
Gary Vogel, AlA
