It is my <br />understanding that the addition allowed by this variance has not yet been constructed; <br />however, you would like to reaffirm the variance to allow construction in 1998. <br /> <br />Section 1013.03 of the City Code indicates that any action by the City Council to grant a <br />variance expires within six months unless a building permit has been issued. For this <br />reason, the variance will need to be reaffirmed by the City Council prior to a building permit <br />being issued; however, another series of public hearings will not be necessary. <br /> <br />PJease submit a letter to the Community Development Department outlining the reason(s) <br />for delaying construction, and requesting the side yard setback variance to be reaffirmed <br />in order to allow the construction to proceed as originally proposed.
