<br />I, and the surveyor, sincerely apologize for this error. We will avoid this error in the <br />future by staking the building closer to the front setback to assure the minimum 5 foot rear <br />setback. And the surveyor will set an iron on the plat boundary line common with the <br />park property opposite each rear offset hub so that the City field inspector can physically <br />measure how close all future buildings will be to the park property when completed. <br /> <br />I am stating my request for an amendment as being that an error was made by a surveyor I <br />hired professionally to do an accurate job, and that an omission was made during the <br />approval process to detect this error. I also feel that it is a tremendous waste of human <br />and natural resources to tear down two decks and two porches that are now complete to <br />the point of occupancy and re-construct them 1 1/2 feet shorter.
