Subject: Driveway width variance to 29.5 feet

Dear committee,

The reason we have requested this variance is that we have a 19
foot boat which we store on the east end of our garage. We use the
east end stall because it is the only stall to accommodate the boat
length. In order for us to back the boat in, we have to drive over
the ground in front of the existing driveway to get a straight shot
into the garage. The boat is 97" wide and we need the straight shot
into the garage since we have only 3" on each side as the boat as
it goes into the garage. We would also like to mention that the
curbing, drainage, and trees will not be effected by this project.
We are on the setback of the cuI de sac and do not believe this
will have any negative visual impact. We also believe that the
addition to the driveway will look better than a tire path leading
up to the existing driveway. We hope that you will accept our
request for the driveway width variance. Thank you for your
consideration.
