Justification For Adding Another Garage Stall

At the present time, our home at 2906 Matilda Street in Roseville has
only a single stall attached garage. We have three autos and would like to store
two of them in the protection of a garage. We live across the street trom
Mapleview Park and our cars have been broken into three times since we moved
here in 1989, twice when they were parked on the street and once when all three
were parked in our driveway.

Also, a single car garage is no longer the the garage of choice. With our
three autos and looking to add a boat, we definitely need more storage. Leaving
cars parked in the driveway tends to add congestion to the outside of the house
and present that "used car lot" look to the neighborhood.

The design of the garage addition was chosen for the following three reasons:
1. It is a practical and simple design that will serve the intended purpose
and we can enjoy building it ourselves.
2. It is a proven design(2721 Matilda St.) and looks good as an addtion.
3. It is economical and will minimize construction costs.

Therefore, we are requesting another garage stall to be designed per the
following prints to protect our autos from damage caused by theft and also to aid
in cleaning up the neighborhood by minimizing the "cluttered look" of cars
parked outside of the house.

Thanks,
Jeff and Lynn Truninger
