<br />INFRASTRUCTURE AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br />Problem Statement - Maturing utility systems and street system, need for storm water <br />ponding/management. <br /> <br />Goal - To provide adequate and efficient public services to all properties and businesses in the <br />area, including water, sanitary sewer and storm sewer. <br /> <br />STRATEGY I <br /> <br />Continue to provide safe, clean water via connections to the City water system. <br /> <br />Action I-A <br /> <br />Provide adequate elevated storage in the Tower Place District to allow for continued <br />water service during power outages and fire emergencies. The current tower has been <br />identified as appropriate because of its high elevation which results in a high capacity <br />water tower, and because location provides visual identify for Tower Place. It also is <br />recommended that the water tower be painted to depict Roseville in a creative way. <br /> <br />Action I-B <br /> <br />Improve cellular and mobile digital communications by placement of transmitters on the <br />cellular tower adjacent to the water tower or utilize portions of the water tower. <br /> <br />Action I-C Other Suggestions: <br /> <br />STRATEGY 2 <br /> <br />Dispose of all storm water in a safe, secure, and efficient manner. <br /> <br />Action 2-A <br /> <br />Review and revise the City Code chapters on Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control <br />regarding on-site storm water retention providing a means to upgrade quality of <br />stormwater runoff in regional ponds, rather than on individual lots. <br /> <br />Action 2-B <br /> <br />Determine the capacity and assessible cost of improving or enlarging the regional pond at <br /> <br />8 <br />
