EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the City ofRoseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called held at the City Hall on Wednesday, the 13th day of March, 1996 at 6:30 P.M. The following members were present: and the following were absent: None. Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 3/13/96a RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A CONDmONAL USE PERMIT TO OPERATE A U-HAUL TRUCK AND TRAILER RENTAL BUSINESS AT 1450 W. COUNTY ROAD C WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 462.357, the City of Roseville has adopted zoning regulations to control land uses throughout the City~ and WHEREAS, said regulations provide that vehicle rental activities may be allowed within the confines of an I-I Light Industrial District as a conditional use~ and WHEREAS, approval of a conditional use permit for a U-Haul Truck and Trailer Rental business has been requested by Scott Wicklund at 1450 W. County Road C~ and WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission considered such conditional use permit at a public hearing held on March 13, 1996, and WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission recommended approval of such conditional use permit subject to certain conditions on March 13, 1996~ now, therefore BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City ofRoseville, Minnesota (the "City"), Ramsey County, Minnesota, that the Planning Commission recommends that a conditional use permit for U-Haul Truck and Trailer Rental business within a I-I zoning district be approved subject to the following conditions: 1. V-Haul rental and landscape business shall be conducted only between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:00 a.m. and 1 :00 p.m. on Saturday. 2. Rental vehicles and trailers shall be parked in an orderly manner in two designated 1
