Eva Ann Williams
1135 Summer Street
Rosevillel MN 55113

Apri I 291 1996

Michael Falkl City Planner
City of Roseville
.2660 Civic Center Drive
Rosevillel MN 55113

Dear Mr. Falkl
fm writing regarding a proposed development of a 16-pump gas station
convenience storel and .2-stall car wash on the southeast corner of Lexington
and Roselawn.
I am totally and unconditionally opposed to this proposal. It is obvious that
you donlt live in Roseville or at least in this areal because it is intolerable
to conceive of three huge gas stations in a ten block area. There is
absolutely no need for this type of construction in this area. Is it
simply short sightedness or greed for additional tax monies that would
prevent the construction of a small park for the residents to enjoy?
Our fair city is named Roseville and not Concreteville. If the proposed
construction is not successful all the expense of construction and then the
removal of tons of non recyclable concreTe wowo nun (;/"=:: lUlU' \:::llVIIU""''-''':.
Also added gas fumes will make our air less that pleasant and healthy to
breathe.
THIM( analyze and consider the effect of such a useless
construction in a still residential area. If your intention is to rid this
entire area of middle income residents) then your proposal would be
valid. Please withdraw this proposal immediately! Thank You!
Sincerely)

'I

(. .

.'
