Noise level
measurements on the proposed Mark 7 car wash installation are included as Attachment A. A
Memorandum containing the results of the noise level measurements of the Superamerica station
is included here as Attachment B.

The layout of the proposed facility relative to adjacent properties is shown in EXHIBIT 1. The
noise sources considered in this assessment are shown in the table below. The level associated
with a vacuum is based upon measurements made at the Superamerica station in Roseville
although the one to be installed at the site will be of a different manufacture. No sound level
information is available on compressors at the site although Bruce Kath has indicated that only
two will be located on the roof of the building which will be surrounded by a 7-foot high
extension of the building wall. Estimates of noise at the nearest structures is based upon data
measured at Superamerica but shielded by a wall.

Level Reference
Source (dBA) Distance Source of Sound Data
Car wash 54 45 feet Everest Group
Vacuum 71 20 feet Measured by DBA at SAlRoseville
Compressors 72 20 feet Measured by DBA at SAlRoseville

Sound levels have been estimated at the nearest structures - three commercial structures located
in the NE, NW and SW quadrants of the intersection and three residential structures located east,
south and west of the site.
