Cliff Lund no longer owns the "L-shaped" lot to the northeast and that the current owners, the Hoffmans, may be open to discussing how each of you can benefit from submitting a joint application for a Minor Subdivision for the replatting of the two tracts; and 3. By replatting your tract into two lots you will optimize your return for the property and eliminate the need to repair the curb and abandon utility service lines; I would recommend that a representative for your family, in a cooperative effort with the City (particularly Kim Lee, City Planner), arrange for a discussion with the Hoffmans to investigate the possibilities for achieving the revised, radial lotting pattern involving the two tracts. Because of the negotiations that this process will require, it will be important to establish a positive and cooperative relationship with all of the involved parties. If the Hoffmans are open to talking about a replatting and how it can result in a more beneficial lotting pattern and a more useable and enjoyable lot for them, then I am encouraged that this is a workable solution. If you opt to follow this recommendation, David, I would encourage you to contact Ms. Lee and seek her assistance in meeting with the Hoffmans.
