<br />3 June 1996 <br /> <br />City of Roseville <br />Planning Department <br /> <br />This is concerning our proposed garage, located at 245 W. Co. Rd. C. Enclosed <br />is the drawing showing where we would like to build the garage. Also enclosed is <br />a letter from our neighbors, Brian and Laura Diedrich, giving us their permission <br />to build to within 5 feet of the property line. Our proposed garage would go to 6 <br />feet of the property line. <br /> <br />If we were to put the garage in the back yard, we would have to remove 6 trees, <br />and take down the fence. Also, the driveway would have to be 40 feet longer, <br />and we would loose a substancial amount of our back yard. <br /> <br />An attached garage leads to other problems. Mainly, the roof line would require a <br />lot of extra cost. We went up and down a lot of city streets, and could not find <br />another house with our roofline, with an attached garage. An attached garage <br />would also take away one of our two living room windows, and we would have to <br />move the water meter. <br /> <br />Thank you for considering our minor variance. <br /> <br />R:jensen !k <br />~p' <-U~ <br />
