I visited the property adjacent to,and sou~ of yom property (2250 Acprn <br />Road) to determine if 'Yettand conditions existed, on the site~ Two wetland areas :were identified <br />, on the)roperty and the fOlloWing letter describes these basins. The Soil survey ofWashingt.on and I?msey Counties showed a wet <br />sp<?t within a large area mapped as Ur1?an Land-Kingsley complex in the- same area as the swale.. <br />~o wetlands were shown to..be within the property on the NWI map., " <br /> <br />.' , <br />The site examination identified two wetland basins within the swale area (Figure 1). <br />,. . . <br /> <br />Wetland 1 appeared to be a.smallType 3 (PEM1C) wetland'surrourided by wooded' <br />uptand (figure ,1). The vegetation withip. the bas~ was dominated by lakeside sedge. . <br />(Carex lacusiris) and common smartwe,ed (Polygon~m hydropiper), with abundant. . <br />bittersweet nightshade (Solanum(iulcainqra) aiId some waterplaritain'(Alisma plantago- <br />aquatica) also 'present.
