The Soil survey ofWashingt.on and I?msey Counties showed a wet sp<?t within a large area mapped as Ur1?an Land-Kingsley complex in the- same area as the swale.. ~o wetlands were shown to..be within the property on the NWI map., " .' , The site examination identified two wetland basins within the swale area (Figure 1). ,. . . Wetland 1 appeared to be a.smallType 3 (PEM1C) wetland'surrourided by wooded' uptand (figure ,1). The vegetation withip. the bas~ was dominated by lakeside sedge. . (Carex lacusiris) and common smartwe,ed (Polygon~m hydropiper), with abundant. . bittersweet nightshade (Solanum(iulcainqra) aiId some waterplaritain'(Alisma plantago- aquatica) also 'present.
