November 12, 1996

From:

To: Mike Falk, City Planner

Jay Kennedy, Assistant Director of Public Works 1~

RE: ACORN ACRES

This is a follow-up to a previous discussion that we had regarding the above project. It is my
understanding that the existing elevations provided on the plans were obtained from aerial
photographs, Due to the sensitivity of the drainage in the area, Mr. Mueller will be required to
submit an accurate topographic survey as part of his application in the future. He will also need
to provide an analysis of the existing drainage through the area and the impacts his proposed
development will have on the existing patterns as well as information on the impacts on vibratory
equipment on adjacent residences. These items were detailed in a previous memo which I sent to
you on September 24, 1996. All of the items detailed here will be required to move forward with
this project.

It is my understanding that Mr. Mueller has withdrawn his application at this time. This is a direct
result of requests from the Rice Creek Watershed District that Mr. Mueller meet with the
neighbors to discuss drainage of his proposed plat. I anticipate that Mr. Mueller will return with
an application once a permit has been issued by the Rice Creek Watershed District. I will
continue to discuss the project with Kate Drewry of the Rice Creek Watershed District
Administration Office and update you as I receive information.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss this project, please contact me at 221.
