<br /> <br />July 24, 1996 <br /> <br />Art Mueller <br />2201 Acorn Road <br />Roseville, MN 55113 <br /> <br />Dear Art: <br /> <br />On Monday, July 22, 1996, the City Council reviewed a PUD that was not a mixed use, but <br />rather a reconfiguration of a site to allow more internal flexibility. <br /> <br />The message I received from the Council discussion of this issue was this: The Council's policy <br />regarding PUD's is that the PUD must be truely innovative, a mix of uses, and connected to the <br />neighborhood. <br /> <br />After reviewing your original PUD request to subdivide an R-l parcel into six lots with a private <br />road, I do not believe this constitutes an "innovative mix of uses connected to the neighborhood". <br /> <br />I suggest you re-think your application and the process. A subdivision with a public street is <br />much more straight forward.
