<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville. <br />County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 22nd day of July, 1996 at 6:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Member <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />AMENDMENT TO THE ROSEVILLE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />REVISING THE LAND USE MAP DESIGNATIONS <br />FOR BRUCE KA TH, 1912 LEXINGTON AVENUE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS. pursuant to the Metrqpolitan Land Planning Act of 1976 the City of Roseville <br />is required to prepare a city comprehensive plan, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville, in 1994, adopted a plan entitled "City of Roseville <br />Comprehensive Guide Plan", which was sent to the Metro Council for review; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the northeast corner of 1912 Lexington A venue (that area zoned B-1 Limited <br />Business) is designated low density residential in the Comprehensive Land Use Guide Plan: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. if the project is to be approved as amended in plans date July 18, 1996, the <br />designation of this area ofthe Comprehensive Plan map must be changed to a business designation: <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has adopted the recommendations and revision~ to <br />the Comprehensive Guide Plan, after a public hearing held on July 10, 1996; and <br /> <br />. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and City Council have invited comment and provided <br />legal notice to all affected adjacent communities and all property owners within 350 feet of the land <br />use map ~hange. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City of Roseville City Council hereby <br />approves and adopts the amendment to the City of Roseville Comprehensive Guide Plan from low <br />density residential to business for the above mentioned parcels, subject to review and approval by <br />the \1etropolitan Council. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof; <br />
