<br />E, Building Height: Building height shall not be greater than forty five feet (45') in any <br />industrial district. <br /> <br />F. Off-Street Parking: Off-street parking shall be provided as follows in all industrial <br />districts. <br /> <br />1. Size of Off-Street Parking Areas: Space for a single vehicle shall be nine <br />feet by eighteen feet (9' x 18') or larger, provided up to fifty percent (50%) of <br />the required spaces may be not less than eight feet by eighteen feet (8' x <br />18') when posted "Compact Vehicles Only". Aisles for ingress and egress <br />shall be provided and shall be a maximum of twenty four feet (24') in width. <br /> <br />2. Number of Off-Street Parking Spaces: There shall be two (2) car parking <br />spaces for every three (3) employees necessary to operate a full shift at <br />design capacity or one space for each one thousand (1,000) square feet of <br />floor area, whichever is greater. <br /> <br />The requirements regarding number of parking spaces for industrial <br />warehouse and storage uses, as set forth in subsections 1005.01 D21 and <br />1005.01 D2m of this Code, are incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br />3. Van Pooling Programs: Where a van pooling program exists for employees <br />of a user of property in an industrial district and such program reduces the <br />need for parking spaces, the number of parking spaces not needed <br />because of such program may be reduced from the requirements of <br />subsection 2 above. Space sufficient to accommodate such reduced <br />number of parking spaces shall be maintained as open space and shall be <br />converted to parking spaces in the event that the program is terminated or if <br />its effectiveness in reducing parking space needs drops. Approval and <br />continuation of such reduced parking space plan shall be made by the <br />Inspection Superintendent. <br /> <br />G. Off-Street Loading Space: One loading space shall be provided in all industrial <br />districts in connection with all buildings or additions erected having a gross floor <br />area often thousand (10,000) square feet or more, which is to be occupied by a <br />use or uses requiring the receipt or distribution by vehicles of material. One <br />additional space shall be provided for each twenty thousand (20,000) square feet <br />or major fraction thereof over the original ten thousand (10,000) square feet. <br /> <br />No loading berth for vehicles over two (2) ton capacity shall be closer than one <br />hundred feet (100') to any residence district unless screened by building walls not <br />less than eight feet (8') in height. <br /> <br />J:\char\wp\resoluti\2indpark.ord <br /> <br />4 <br />
